I have been a Realtor for 13 years...3 years overlapping with a full-time job at the Federal Government as a Judicial Assistant, until it ended with my Judge's retirement in 2012. I was a real estate paralegal for 15 years after receiving my BA in Legal Studies from the University of Buffalo and spent 13 years thereafter with the U.S. Bankruptcy Judge in Rochester, NY. When his retirement was announced in 2008, I obtained my Real Estate Salesperson's license at to begin my second career. The three-year overlap allowed me a great head start and enabled me to transition smoothly into my exciting new career.
